Frank is the Head of Technology for Leesa and CTO of Brand Journey Group, the innovation engine that spawned Leesa. This gives Frank invaluable access to, and interaction with, the most innovative technology thinkers and resources in the world.
Frank also oversees technology engagements at companies like VF Corporation and early stage companies like Flat-Club in the UK. Frank spends his spare time with his family, pursuing his love of music, enjoying classic cars, and walking on the beach. He also marched with the 1989 Florida Wave Drum & Bugle Corps.
Laura Beasley resides in New Jersey with her husband and three children, along with their dogs and cats. She has been employed as a Travel Agent for the past five years and previously worked at Merrill Lynch in Management Training. Laura grew up involved in many music programs including her high school marching band. She has continued to support the arts over the years as Fundraising Chairperson for her daughter’s high school band.
Donna has been teaching general music, choral and instrumental music, and musical theater in public schools for the past 23 years. Donna is Choral Director at Memorial High School in Millville, NJ and has a master’s degree in Instructional Technology with a Supervisor Endorsement from Stockton University in NJ where she has studied Project Management and Grant Writing. Donna also serves as a church organist and cantor. She has been a fan of drum corps
since she was in high school. Donna is happily married, has a teenage daughter who is very involved with music, and has a spunky dog who loves to play catch.
Jeff Lockard is an IT professional with 30+ years of experience, currently employed as the Director of Application Management for Pearson Education. In this role, he manages a staff of technologists, who develop and support users of the technology-based applications that help drive the business processes for a K-12 virtual school, which serves 70,000+ students and their families across the United States and internationally. During his career, he has gained valuable management and leadership experience in numerous professional settings.
Much of Jeff’s drum corps (and related activities) exposure is from the perspective of a fan, having marched competitively in high school, his passion related to drum corps activities is more than 35 years in the making. Jeff is married to Nancy and has one son, Joseph who has marched for 4 years with Raiders, though drum corps has been a family affair for us for nearly 10 years.
Alexandra is a devoted parent to two teenage daughters. Because of their love of music, and through orchestral and drum corps, their life experiences have been broadened. Her goal is to give them as many opportunities available to enrich that life experience. In her past entrepreneurial ventures, she was a franchise owner in a retail business for 7 years that was in the top performers of the organization. Currently, in her spare time, she freelances as voice over talent and Spanish interpreter.
Sian initially became involved with The Raiders in 2011 when her daughter, Rachel, first marched with them. As each season came and went, they both became more heavily involved. Rachel now teaches Winter Star. Due to a job relocation Sian now lives in Massachusetts but comes back to New Jersey often.
Sian is Head of Licensing at GE Healthcare Lifesciences. This role involves business analytics, marketing business development and the negotiation of legal contracts. Sian was also on the Board of the Hillsborough High School Band program.
Rob Beasley is a devoted husband and father of three children. He has been involved in the standard bred race horse industry for 30 years and has been the owner of Beasley Horseshoeing for 25 years. Rob applies both his mechanical and business skills to the A+ Performing Arts organization.
Spending most of his life in New Jersey, Bob began his drum corps career marching in the Crossmen in 1983 and 1984, and finished out in the Cadets in 1986 and 1987. Bob has served on the staff of the Crossmen and the Jersey Surf. In addition, Bob has designed for and instructed many marching bands, indoor guards, and indoor drumlines in the tri-state area for over 30 years.
Bob has served as the Executive Director of the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps for the past 8 years and was instrumental in creating SmART Performances. Bob led the turn-around of the organization as the Bushwackers returned to top-5 status in 2018. In addition, Bob also expanded the organization to include other educational and alumni performing ensembles.
Harlan comes to the Raiders after four years with the Bushwackers Drum Corps from Princeton, New Jersey, three of which he served as director through the corps’ competitive and operational success in DCA Open Class.
